PASSWORD RESET TECHNIQUE

 IN schools and colleges you generally use pc’s which are used by several other users.there you face a common problem sometimes that when you want to work on computer it ask for a password .very often the other users in order to keep  the access of the pc to their own create a password using the accounts settings.its very embarrassing sometimes in the case you want to do some important work and all the pc are either occupied or having password.here is the trick by which you can open the pc even if you don’t know the password

condition:  this trick will work only if you know the password at the last time you have worked successfully on that pc

things required: a pen drive

method

step1- first open control panel

step2- go to account settings

.

step3-  from there select the account of which you know the password.

step4-now on the left side of the window ,there is a option of “create a password reset disk”.so firstly put your pen drive in usb port and then click on the option” create a password reset disk”

 .

Step5- a new window will open which will be asking for the removable disk in which you want to store your user key or password reset key.it could be any whether  “removable disk F” or  “G” depending upon the port you are using.

Step6-click on “ok”.now  it will ask for  the password .put the current password of the account and click “ok” and then” finish ”.

Step7-now eject the pen drive. YOU ARE DONE.

   Now next time you see the computer asking for password and the previous password is changed just follow the steps-

Step1-put your pen drive in the usb port.

Step2-now click on the  green arrow in front of the blank box for password.it will show the error that”user password is incorrect”.click “ok”.

Step3-now you will see a option of “reset password” below the box.click on it.now it will ask for the old password that you have entered  in your previous visit and the new password,just enter  them and now YOU ARE THE BOSS OF THE COMPUTER.

Problems: the problem with this technique is that you can unlock only that pc for which you have created the password reset disk.
